Here's a little background on the owners of Booster Mulimedia

David Norhof is an experienced businessman who co-owns Booster Multimedia with Tim Hearth. Dave
and Tim have been business partners since March of 2007.
As a boy growing up on a dairy farm Dave spent most of his hours working that farm with his father
and five siblings. Dave is not afraid of hard work or getting his hands dirty. He also enjoyed
racing, football, playing baseball, softball and bowling in a league. Bowling became a passion of
Daves. He spent several years perfecting his game all culminating in 2008 when he won the
prestigious ring and award from the United Sates Bowling Congress (USBC) for achieving a 300 score
game. Striving for perfection is what Dave has always tried to do in all of his endeavors.
Directly after high school Dave jumped right into the work force working for the Amway
Corporation in their factory division. Dave chose to leave Amway to become a team leader for the
largest office furniture manufacturer in the country, Steelcase. Dave worked for Steelcase for
over 21 years earning certifications for the International Standards Organization (ISO) in
blueprint reading and team leader training.
All of Dave’s training came in handy when in the year 2000 he made the decision to build
his own home and took on the task of being the General Contractor on the project. As General
Contractor Dave completed all finish work himself as well as organized and managed all contractors
working under his direction to assist in all other aspects of the job.
After the house was completed, Dave opened his own transportation business called Champion
Transport. Operations included but were not limited to:
Dave began the business with one truck, doubling sales each year for four years. Toward
the end the transportation company averaged $750,000 in sales per year with twelve trucks and ten
employees under Dave’s direction. Dave and Tim met in the repossession yard during Dave’s tenure
owning Champion Transport.
Over the past 31 years Dave has had to learn many skills to help make his companies and those he has worked for successful. He has focused primarily on sales, marketing, and business management.
Tim Hearth is a husband and father of three, as well as an installer for a DirecTV
distributor (since 2004.) He is also co-owner of Booster Multimedia.
Tim has always been family oriented as a sibling from a family of four from Hudsonville,
Michigan. Growing up, Tim’s father was a truck driver and his brother-in-law an owner of a heavy
equipment operation. Although Tim spent much of his time cutting wood for the family and for
fellow church goers, as well as working at FastTrak doing oil changes, he had aspirations to work
in the electronics industry and work in the family business in heavy equipment operation.
While in high school, in preparation for fulfilling his pursuit of said vocation, Tim
attended a three year program at a technical school for diesel and heavy equipment mechanics from
1995-1997. This program specialized in but was not limited to electronics troubleshooting, mechanics
of machines, and electronic circuits.
After receiving his certificate of completion for technical school, Tim went to work at
Precision Diesel and Refrigeration throughout his last year of high school. Directly after this
program ended Tim went to work for State Spring working with heavy springs for large engine
automobiles from 1998-2001.
In preparation to begin working in the family business, Tim then went to work for Schippers
Excavating as a pipe layer for mainly new construction (2001-2002.) In 2002 Tim began working with
his brother-in-law at Dykstra Excavating as a heavy equipment operator (2002-2004.) In 2004 times
got tough and Dykstra made considerable layoffs. Tim is not one to sit on his hands so he went
to work for a company that could afford him the opportunity to fulfill his other aspiration in
electronics, DirecTV. As an installer/home service provider, Tim integrates any and all
electronic sound and sight equipment within a household.
As Tim was building a clientele he took a second job working for Burns Recovery as their
Transportation Manager. This is where Dave and Tim met and became friends as well as associates,
and soon to be business partners.
Learning that both men are people oriented and love a challenge, Tim and Dave decided to
embark on a new venture known as Booster Multimedia. With Dave’s business know how and Tim’s
technical abilities as well as both men attending training by Bursma Distributing (a large
electronics house) these gentlemen are on their way to becoming leaders in the field of home
electronics.
